The Exon Terra Compact Top Canopy is a compact fluorescent terrarium canopy designed for use with the Exon Terra Glass Terrarium. This easy-to-install canopy accommodates compact fluorescent bulbs or low wattage incandescent bulbs. The compact fluorescent terrarium canopy measures 45 x 9 x 20 cm (17.7" x 3.5" x 7.8") and features a built-in reflector and sliding rim to mount accessories.
A combination of different Exon Terra Recti Glow compact fluorescent bulbs (PT2226 / PT2227 / PT2228) can be used to create the ideal ultraviolet/visual light ratio, or the canopy can be used with an incandescent light source such as the Exon Terra Sun Glow to increase the ambient air-temperature. Optional accessories such as the Exon Terra Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer, and the Exon Terra Thermostat and Hygrostat, can be slid into the special sliding rim on the top of the canopy.
The Exon Terra Compact Top Canopy is designed for easy installation and offers versatility in lighting options to create the perfect environment for your terrarium. Whether you choose to use compact fluorescent bulbs or incandescent bulbs, the built-in reflector and sliding rim allow for customization and the addition of essential monitoring devices to maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels.
